The blazing South Florida heat didn't stop fans from seeing their favorite bands at the Culture Room Saturday night. As many fans waited in line, a tour bus parked right in front of the entrance, and members of Cute Is What We Aim For stepped out! When lead singer Shaant Hacikyan walked off the bus, fans screamed for his attention. Hacikyan smiled and waved at the crowd and was escorted along with the rest of the band members inside the building. After seeing what would be the highlight of the evening, everyone seemed to grow giddy with anticipation, waiting for the show to begin.

As soon as the doors opened, the crowd quickly entered and gathered around the stage. The hip-hop band Down With Webster opened the show with “Time To Win,” and the crowd went wild, cheering as each member approached the stage. Singer Pat Gillett ran on stage sporting baggy jeans and messy hair. He swayed and swung his arms in the air, making the crowd swing their arms back. They band continued with “Whoa Is Me,” a popular song during which all the fans sang along. Shortly after, pop rockers, The Bigger Lights, followed. A lot of young teens were screaming for Christopher "Topher" Talley, their lead singer, who happily waved and formed his hands in the shape of a heart, a symbol used by the band and fans. The Bigger Lights then continued to sing “So Crazy” which Talley said was a very meaningful song for him.

As the lights dimmed once more, each member of Cute Is What We Aim For appeared. The entire room went wild when they started playing “Newport.”

Andrew Goldstein - Lead Vocals,
Guitar of The Friday Night Boys

After an exciting beginning, The Friday Night Boys appeared on stage while the lights illuminated the entire venue. The band rocked the crowd as lead singer, Andrew Goldstein, sang his heart out, his eyes closed, while his guitar hung low on his body. After a few songs, fans cried out to Goldstein, clutching his hand while he leaned over on the stage. The band finished the set as fans cheered, and the stage was cleared for the highlight of the evening.

As the lights dimmed once more, one by one, each member of Cute Is What We Aim For appeared. The entire room went wild when they started playing “Newport Living.” You could truly feel the love and feelings of the fans when they sang along to the chorus of “Navigate Me.” Hacikyan reached into the crowd and grabbed the hands of many adoring fans. The set continued, and the energy from the front row to the balcony did not fade for a moment. The band pumped the crowd up with a small instrumental that blew up to “Practice Makes Perfect” and the old-time favorite “The Curse Of Curves,” before the lights faded and the band left the stage. The night ended with all the fans buying shirts and band merch as everyone chatted about the awesome show that no one will soon forget.
