When Revolution opened its doors at 6:30, the rush to get into the venue was greater than ever. The line waiting outside the door turned into a giant mob of eager fans anxious to get a decent spot for this sold-out show. The venue filled up quickly, with the crowd already pumped for the first night of Tour Sick.

Shortly after the doors opened, pop-punk band Veara opened the show. The band brought all their energy to their stage, chatting and interacting with the crowd during their entire set. They danced all over the stage and lived it up, igniting the crowd to form a wave. Veara played “Better Off Without You” and “Waste My Time,” which the crowd rooting for the band. After a short set list, the band stripped the stage for the next band.
Post-hardcore band Enter Shikari came out next, bringing the craziest set of the night. The audience knew every single song the band played, screaming and cheering for each and every note. After getting through two songs, the bands' computer broke down, cutting their set short. The crowd made up for the lost time by singing along to the remainder of the set, consisting of “Acid Nation” and “Mothership.” Due to their technical difficulties, Enter Shikari could only play four songs, so even though the audience was begging for more, they quickly had to clear the stage.
From underneath the stage among an explosion of fog, A Day to Remember was finally on stage. From the time the audience heard those first few pop-rock chords of “Downfall of Us All,” the crowd became a giant dance party.

Silverstein jumped on stage next, opening with “Smile in Your Sleep.” From the time they opened until they closed with “My Heroine,” the crowd formed a circle pit with crowd surfers while the band ran around the stage. By the end of their thirty minute set, Silverstein had sweat pouring down their faces, and so did everyone else in the crowd.
Metalcore band August Burns Red took over the stage to the cheers and hollers of the crowd. They might have only had a forty-minute set, but it felt like hours because of all the songs they packed into it. They played new songs, such as “American Dream” as well as old songs like "Barbarian" off their first album. But no matter what song they played, everyone in the crowd was screaming back every word and having the time of their lives.

Jeremy McKinnon and Kevin Skaff of A Day to Remember
After an entire video about trying to find their lead singer, and then having him literally pop up from underneath the stage among an explosion of fog, A Day to Remember was finally on stage. From the time the audience heard those first few pop-rock chords of “Downfall of Us All,” the crowd became a giant dance party. After playing songs off of all three of their albums, which included everything from “Monument” to “Have Faith in Me,” the band got off stage, quickly returning for a highly demanded encore. This encore was special however, because the last song on their CD, Homesick, entitled “If It Means a Lot to You,” was played for the first time ever, with very special guest, Sierra, from Versa Emerge, who also sang the song on the album. They followed that song up with one more, which signaled the end of the show.
Once that final curtain closed, Tour Sick had officially begun, and if every show on this tour resembles tonight's, this tour will definitely be amazing.
