What would Rocket to the Moon, Automatic Love Letter, Cute is What We Aim For, and Secondhand Serenade all be doing in the same place? Well, providing fans with that priceless one-on-one live concert experience, of course.

Starting promptly at 7 p.m., the concert opened up with rock band Rocket to the Moon. They started off with "Baby We’re Invincible" and continued with songs such as "I’m Not Saying Goodbye," "Fear of Flying," and "Just Another One." Although the band was only on stage for roughly 20 minutes, they gave a solid performance that fans could enjoy. They left encouraging fans to buy their $5 CD being sold in the back of the club and gave semblance to the notion that every band has to initially depend on fan support to successfully get to the top. And by the looks, it seems like they’re pretty set if all their fans are as loyal as the ones who showed up at the concert that night.

Cute is What We Aim For gladly appeared on-stage for their hungry fans and started their act with their popular song "Doctor."

The next act was nothing short of thrilling. With their lively lead guitarist Joe Nelson and stunningly-voiced lead singer Juliet Simms, Automatic Love Letter opened with their catchy song "Parker." Throughout their 30 minute act, they performed songs like "Hush" and "Make up Smeared Eyes." The band gave an energetic performance but was, quite frankly, much like their latest album: too short.

With their name chanted to a hiphop beat, Cute is What We Aim For gladly appeared on-stage for their hungry fans and started their act with their popular song "Doctor." They followed up with "Risqué" and continued with other wellliked songs such as "Lock down Denial," "Hollywood," "There’s A Class for This," "Time," and "Practice makes Perfect."

The final act of the night was Secondhand Serenade. They opened with the single "Like a Knife." The band was lively and woke up many of the concertgoers who were waiting the night out solely for THIS appearance.

The concert, as a whole, was fairly satisfying. Whether it was strategic time management or the personal choice of the bands, the sets all had one thing in common: short performances. Although most of the night’s performers only had one album under their belt, it still wouldn’t be less than desired for the sets to be a bit longer so fans could get a more thorough experience with their favorite artists. Other than that, the bands belted out their hearts and every ounce of energy they could to each and every one of their songs.
