Las Vegas has proved itself to be one of the most musically diverse cities this decade; with that said, band natives The Cab have become one of the biggest new pop rock sensations ever. Instead of waiting at home to make things happen, they said screw senior year of high school and make this happen! Cash Colligan, bass player for The Cab, explained that he and lead singer, Alex Delon started the band their junior year in high school.

"I remember when Alex and I would play and just make things up. We were totally into making a band, especially when we finally added more members to the band," Colligan said.

With a numerous amount of members coming in and out; the band finally found its place when Paul Garcia left the band.

"You know, it was nothing personal with our old band members, we were just changing the sound of our music. We wanted to do something more popish and catchy," Colligan added. "We wanted like a pianist and other stuff to give us that sound and unfortunately the other members just weren’t into that. We still are really good friends with all of them!"

Once the band was joined and ready to rock they were determined to perform some shows around their home town. It so happened that fellow members Spencer and Brandon from Panic At The Disco where at one of them.

"We couldn’t believe the guys from Panic were there. After the show we went up to them and passed them our demo. It looked like they were very impressed and things just took off from there!," Colligan said ecstatically.

The guys from Panic At The Disco were so enthralled with their music they knew they had to pass it on to Pete Wentz, bass player of Fall Out Boy.

"Pete Wentz has been a huge help to this band well that is, Fall Out Boy in general," Colligan said.

It seems as if the bands have formed one huge family, not to forget to mention, lead singer of Fall Out Boy, Patrick Stump and Brandon Urie from Panic At The Disco, lent their amazing vocals to The Cab’s debut album, Whisper War.

Whisper War, which was released in late April, has made The Cab the new teen crave. Fans from around the world appreciate the bands efforts in trying to make a unique sound and look, though they fail miserably at this, I’ll credit them for their catchy tunes that I shamefully catch myself humming.

We played about two shows in Japan and I think we were there for a total of four or five days, we were actually on tour with Cobra Starship and we had fans waiting for us at the airport. It was pretty crazy it made us really happy!" He added, "Another country I would personally like to visit as a band is the U.K. I hear it’s a lot of fun."

The Cab is on its way to become the next breakout stars. They’ve already made it huge with the appearance of their song, "One of THOSE nights" on everyone’s favorite videogame, RockBand 2! Don’t forget to pick up the game and make a stop to see them in concert at the Rock Band Live tour coming to you Nov. 7 at the BankUnited Center, located in Coral Gables at the University of Miami campus.
