Miami is known for its multicultural differences, distinct style and taste, but not necessarily for the variety of music it has to offer. If when you think of Miami you don’t get the impression we have an incredible local scene, psh think again!
With an irritating group of tacky scene kids and dreadful fashion sense, Miami’s local scene has vanished into chaotic drama and one big fashion show, but there’s a band that’s about to change that: Kill Jasper!
Ranging in the ages of 17 to 21, this group is taking the next step to revolutionize the local scene. Malcolm Valdivia (Bass/Vocals), Dick Cifuentes (Guitar), Jesus Muñoz (Guitar), Tee Fuentes (Drums) and A.J. Mekdeci (Vocals) have been a band for about two years and a half now and have come out with one of the most mind-blowing EPs, DATA ARCANA. With raging guitars and profound lyrics, these guys are ready for the next big thing.
“You know what; we are just ready to get out there, for people to hear us,” Mekdeci said. “We’ve dedicated all our time to this band, half of us don’t even go to school for this, it’s our passion, we live for this and we are just so ready to make it big!”
The guys slowly have been getting their name out there and with their new EP they have the opportunity to conduct their very own excursion: the PEG LEGS AND SKALLY WAGGS TOUR. There is so much more this band has to offer and there will be no doubt that in time they will be rock n’ roll legends. They’re not simply in a band to get laid. They’re not about a fashion show, or a making a drama scene. They are here for the music and to play for the fans that have been following them since the start.
