The Answer
to Radio Baffle:
Yes.net
By: Alejandra Serna
Doesn't it suck
when you don't know the name of a song on the radio? Yes.net
is the answer to this problem. It allows you to find the artist's
name and the title of the song you just heard on the radio. The procedure
is simple. Once on the site, you select your city and the radio station.
As you make the first selection, the radio station choices are narrowed
down. Then, you select the approximate time in which you heard the
song and the song title / artist appears instantly. This site thoroughly
catalogues hundreds of radio stations around the country. All the
songs played throughout the day are then posted under 5 minute time
intervals - the approximate duration of a song. The "recently
played" time appears first. Nonetheless, you can find songs played
from the previous morning. In addition, the site has an extra feature
that allows you to find the CD containing the song, on-line. The site
is user-friendly, so no computer-wiz skills are necessary. All that's
required is the "need" to find that song.
